Annual event website
Project Runway is a club activity at Palos Verdes High School. Every year the club stages a fashion show to raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Greater Los Angeles. Students get stores to provide clothing, and business sponsors for the fashion show. Stores and sponsors are publicized on the website with graphical links to their websites. A news blog rounds out the information keeping the annual event in the public eye year-round.
Club members produce the show including choreography, photography, and videography, and model fashions for girls, boys, children, and pets! Great music accompanies the beautifully choreographed event. Marissa Trevett is the faculty advisor. Together, club members and advisor produce a wonderful show and raise money for a very special organization.
Simple and effective
In 2017 we made it possible for event goers to learn about the club, the cause, and to buy event tickets and make donations online. The donations link was embedded from Make-A-Wish®; all funds raised go directly to the cause.
The homepage was conceived by 2017 President Nikki Walker. We worked out the website design based on Nikki’s concept.
It was a simple matter to update the site content for 2018…new sponsors, shops, and logos. New club leadership and new models.
